[ACADEMIC] Academic Reading Skills: Critically Reading Journal Article

Today I am to share about “What are critically reading in my journal article”

In the previous post, I shared about how I find the article journal. For this moment, I am to share about the critically reading of my journal article. My journal article is The Importance of Teaching Academic Reading Skills in First Year University Courses by Julian Hermida of Algoma University. From my lecturer, there are many criteria of the best journal article. Such as Abstract, Introduction, etc. because of it, I am going to analysis that is there any one of the above criteria in my journal article.

So, let me share about my journal article that contains:

1.      Title

2.      Abstract

3.      Keywords

4.      Introduction

5.      Review about the case

6.      The method used

7.      Discussion

8.      Conclusion

That is all the contains of my journal article. I am sorry for the mistake.

[ACADEMIC] Academic Reading Skills: How Do You Find a Research Article?

Hello Guys back again with me^^

 Today I am to share about “How Do I Find a Research Article?”

The first meeting with my Academic Reading’s Lecturer, Miss Yuna at 4^th Semester, she asks me and my classmates to search an article about “Learning skill”. For the learning skill, there are 4 skill that can we choose. Reading, Listening, Speaking and Writing. And I take the learning skill about Reading.

I search the keyword “Learning skill reading article pdf” and I get it from the first line. I downloaded the article and I read before the article. And I really like the title of that article. The title is “The Importance of Teaching Academic Reading Skills in First Year University Courses”. And this article I choose as my source article for Academic Reading.

That is my experience to find a research article
